The Faculty of Environmental Engineering at Lublin University of Technology was founded on December 28th, 2004 by an order of the Minister of National Education and Sports. Currently, the following organizational units operate within the structure of the Faculty of Environmental Engineering: Department of Water Supply and Wastewater Disposal, Institute of Environmental Engineering, Indoor and Outdoor Air Quality Department, Institute of Renewable Energy Engineering, Department of Biomass and Waste Conversion into Biofuels, and Laboratory of Environmental Analyses.
The Faculty also has a Scientific Council for the Discipline of Environmental Engineering, Mining and Energy. The Faculty is authorized to confer doctoral and postdoctoral degrees in the field of engineering and technical sciences, in the discipline of environmental engineering, mining and power engineering.
The Department conducts full-time undergraduate studies in the fields of Environmental Engineering and Renewable Energy Engineering, as well as full-time and part-time undergraduate studies in the field of Environmental Engineering.
