The Faculty cooperates with foreign professors from several institutions. Currently, the cooperation involves seven professors representing universities and research institutes from Slovakia, India, Algeria, Lithuania, and Ukraine:

  • Prof. Lýdia Sobotová – Technical University of Košice, Slovakia
  • Prof. Anton Trník – Constantine the Philosopher University in Nitra, Slovakia
  • Prof. Mindaugas Rimeika – Vilnius Gediminas Technical University, Lithuania
  • Prof. Maryna Kyrychenko-Babko – I.I. Schmalhausen Institute of Zoology, National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine
  • Prof. Thirumalini Selvaraj – Vellore Institute of Technology, India
  • Prof. Mahesh Ganesapillai – Vellore Institute of Technology, India
  • Prof. Miloua Hadj – Djillali Liabès University of Sidi Bel Abbès, Algeria

Within this cooperation, guest lectures are delivered for students, complementing the regular curriculum. The lectures cover, among others, the following topics:

  • Recycling
  • Land Use and Conservation
  • Climate Change: Materials and Techniques in Carbon Capture and Storage
  • Energy of the Future
  • Waste-to-Energy
  • Basics of Designing HVAC Devices
  • Basics of Designing Energy Systems

The aim of these activities is to broaden students’ knowledge, introduce technical terminology in English, and better prepare them for the labour market. The cooperation contributes to the exchange of experience and strengthening of international academic links.
